I'm mostly interested in serving the data needs of others. I have expertise in a variety of SQL languages and platforms, currently focusing on Transact SQL in Microsoft SQL Server (2017 and 2008R2).
XML in addition to developing packages in Microsoft Visual Studio's SSIS Designer and queries & stored procedures in t-SQL using Microsoft's SSMS.
Additional duties include outfitting field teams with customized Microsoft Access forms. To implement this and fulfill other general biotelemetry needs, I write Jet SQL queries as well as bash, DOS Shell, Perl, Python, R and VBA scripts and perform general computer troubleshooting.
I am also interested in prokaryotic microbiology and genomics, having experience with 454, PacBio and Sanger (florescent dye) sequencing, alignment and simple single-chromosomal assembly.
