Research Interests: My primary research interest is to investigate the plastic and physiological responses of fish to anthropogenic effects such as climate change, hydrologic modifications, and fishing practices. Through laboratory and field based experiments, I seek to understand how vulnerable species respond to these challenges under various management practices and projected environmental conditions. Much of my research experience to date has focused on studying how Antarctic and California native fishes are affected under anthropogenic stressors and how organismal stress can be mitigated.
