Research Interests:
My research interests and developing Master’s Thesis involve the use of white sturgeon fin ray microchemistry to reconstruct migratory life history within the California San Joaquin and San Francisco Estuary. With the new and exciting methods I have learned from previous migratory history studies on salmon otoliths, I feel the information we can learn from this research can provide new insight into the use of microchemistry as a valuable tool in fisheries management and may have the potential to influence future management decisions.
