Research Interests:
I am interested in the ability of salmonids to acclimate/adapt to their environment, particularly for informing conservation and management of endangered species in the changing climate of California’s Sacramento San Joaquin River Delta. Currently, I am investigating the thermal dependence of specific dynamic action, or the energy cost of processing a meal, in Fall-run Chinook salmon.
